VOLUNTEERS WHO MAKE A DIFFERENCE

A key component of The Academy's mission is to foster mentoring relationships between practicing coaches and participants in the Future Coaches Camp. Many of TASL's mentor-volunteers hold coaching positions in middle and high schools, while others direct college-level sports.

Ideally, those who volunteer as mentors have solid instructional skills, substantial coaching experience, a positive attitude, and a willingness to invest time, energy and personal effort in the development of future coaches.

All volunteers are invited to attend a one-day workshop. Along with an overview of the Future Coaches program, participants receive practical guidance and support for their work as coach-mentors.

For more information about the Mentor Training Workshop, phone TASL at (734) 205-4022 or send an e-mail to info@sportleadership.net.
