The Academy for Sport Leadership (TASL) respects your concerns about maintaining strict privacy, so we aim to be as transparent as possible.
By visiting and signing up for our mailing list on the TASL website, you agree to the collection and use of the personal information described in this policy. Any changes to this policy will be posted on this page and identified by the "Last Updated" date shown above.
What information do we collect?
TASL does not collect any personal information on visitors to our website.
If you sign up for our mailing list to receive updates about our programs and events, TASL considers you a member or user of our website. The only member or user personal information we collect is name and email address.
How do we treat your information?
TASL never rents or sells visitor or member/user information of any sort from any source. Never, ever.
TASL gives you full control over your information, including the ability to erase it from our system. If you wish to erase this information, please send us an email at: sportleadership.net. We will erase and delete your information. You are still welcome, however, to visit the TASL website.
TASL does look at our Web statistics. They include no personal information. These statistics are reviewed to see how many people use our site, for how long and what they are interested in, such as our programs and events. Our use of these statistics is to get a clear idea of what our visitors and members/users like and don’t like about what we are doing.
TASL does use “cookies” to retain your sign up/commenting information without your having to enter it again and to allow you to leave one area of our website to visit other pages that interest you.
How do we protect your information?
TASL attempts to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of any collected information. Our servers are protected by reasonable physical and electronic security.
What about children using the website?
TASL's mission is not directed toward children under 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not submit any personally identifiable information to TASL.
What about our links?
Our website offers links, both permanent and temporary, to other social media and other websites. TASL cannot vouch for the privacy policies used by these social media and other websites, nor can or should we be responsible for the privacy practices of these social media and other websites.
