| Offered in conjunction with Ann Arbor Greenhills School, these paid internships offer college-age female athletes an opportunity to strengthen their management and administrative skills within a school setting, under the guidance of a practicing professional. Assignments are wide-ranging and typically involve event planning, research, marketing and fundraising, and program evaluation. Interns also assist in the day-to-day administration of the Greenhills athletic program. In addition to hands-on training, participants have the opportunity to develop a network of professional contacts. This kind of direct, daily interaction with successful coaches and their students has proven to be extremely beneficial in preparing young women for careers in sport management and coaching. | We welcome TASL alums back to visit, volunteer and reconnect with fellow TASL alums, faculty and supporters. Tell us about your news: where you are attending school and your academic interests, what sports you are involved in and whether you are coaching and where. Please share with us any career insights, experiences and advice you think we need to know about. We would love to hear from you. Not only that. We would like this network to be useful to you after you have attended camp. TASL alums are also active on Facebook and LinkedIn. Please feel free to connect with us there. As you know, TASL is an all-volunteer organization run by committed women who wish to see other women at the highest levels of sport governance and management--from coaching and refereeing to athletic directorships and as presidents of professional leagues. If you are interested in volunteering for our Future Coaches Camp, please let us know by contacting us at:info@sportleadership.net. You can also make a gift to support TASL's programs or contribute to the TASL Endowment Fund. Thanks for joining the growing TASL Alumnae Network! |
